Trier

Trier is the main parent used in the establishment of the Reverend Joseph Pemberton's Hybrid Musk group of roses. As I have mentioned in a previous blog entry, it is also one of my very favourite roses, and I grow several in different locations around the garden.
The one pictured above was one of two planted either side of an arch, but after five or so years the arch lost the rose v garden structure battle, and was removed to let the Triers grow together in one big mounding shrub. It has just started to flower now (third week of October), so when it really hits its straps I will photograph the resulting stunning display.
